hello my Pismo has got same strange behaviour..
First I discovered that it sometimes stop playing sounds.. Reboot or sending it to sleep and waking up again sometimes helped and the sound was back again. I also discovered, that when I wanted to record via cable from my HiFi, that I had to treat the cable a little bit: e.g. by putting something heavy on it, causing the connector to be bend up a little. Anyway, I was planning to put more RAM in it, so I opened it up, and took nearly all parts away, to have also a look at the Sound Card.. Unnecessary to say, that I couldn�t discover the bug ;( Reassembled now, it works fine with the new 1 GB, but the sound issue even seems worse..;(( The lightest Vibrations or moving of the screen in its hinges flips the sound out from the speakers to headphone, (that can be seen in the Sound Control test window) and when that happens it sometimes also happens that I can hear the DATA Streams (I guess from the HD) floating in the speakers..as if it isn�t shielded well enough..(but I am sure I�ve put all stuff together correctly again) hmmpf..has anyone some suggestions to make this strange contact problem going away?
