I am totally satisfied with the G4 upgrade. It runs cooler than before, my fan hardly ever kicks in. I also run a few programs at a time, fcp, dvd studio pro, photoshop, illustrator etc... it does get warm when editing video, but not near as hot as it used to get. I'm running jaguar, with 768 mb's of RAM.
