Sorry, the video controller in all laptops is a non-removable part of the motherboard. It's impossible to upgrade. What you have probably heard, though, is that 32 MB is recommended for Quartz Extreme. Quartz Extreme (QE) is a system that takes the big job of rendering windows in OS X and sends it from the processor to the graphics card. Although 32 MB is recommended, it can run with just 16 MB.
