Hi all, I'm debating about going to cable modem (DSL in our part of Missouri isn't much of an option, and SBC/Southwestern Bell's DSL service is marginal, from friends I've checked with). The local cable modem people list these cable modems as compatible with their services, so I wanted to ask the list if anyone has experience with one or more of these, and would either recommend, strongly recommend, or strongly discourage any specific models from the list:

So what can you tell me about any of these cable modems? If it makes any difference, the cable company is Charter Communications (only local cable company in our county).
