FWIW, I'm looking at a personal/home use of cable DSL - any tech on site will have to be me. We haven't had much of any strong storms in this part of Missouri in a long while. Don't know if it really makes a difference, but the phone lines come into my apartment building underground. So I delude myself into saying 'any storm strikes will ground out before they get into our building (unless they strike right outside my apt. building).' Like I said, the things we tell ourselves...
