Anyway...I did find the thingy in the date/time panel AFTER I turned off the display clock and opened the clock options panel...It is now showing AC because I just plugged it in to be sure it had a full charge... Thanks again to everyone that replied to the original question...I reallty appreciate the quickness and courteousness of the replies.
