Subject: Re: Battery Monitor Question

If you want a really quick check of the battery state press the little button on the battery itself and see how many LEDs light up.
On my Lombard 4 LEDs is full charge.
Even works if the battery is out of the computer.
The button may not be included with aftermarket batteries but it was included on the Apple battery for my Wallstreet and my Lombard.

Yes, but I find this to be grossly inaccurate. Some batteries cannot hold a charge for long, the system doesn't handle the charge well anymore, etc.

It would be best to just install the battery monitor into the menu bar.
