FWIW - Faced with a very similar decision (choosing between Lombard or 
Pismo, basically), I chose Pismo. Main reason for me is that I *NEED* 
Firewire and it's ugly to have to use a PCMCIA FireWire card. Pismo 
also seems to have pretty nearly only good reviews; people who own them 
seem to love them. And it's slightly more OSX-friendly than Lombard.
