FWIW - Faced with a very similar decision (choosing between Lombard or Pismo, basically), I chose Pismo. Main reason for me is that I *NEED* Firewire and it's ugly to have to use a PCMCIA FireWire card. Pismo also seems to have pretty nearly only good reviews; people who own them seem to love them. And it's slightly more OSX-friendly than Lombard. -- Lewin A.R.W.
