i have the same drive in my Pismo. I'm running 10.2. Maybe you could 
Downgrade to 10.2- it should work then (unless it's another issue). Try 
burning in OS9 to make sure the drive hasn't gone south.

I have a VST Technologies CD-R/W Drive for my Pismo PowerBook. The

the drive is CDRWG32.
It's been a while since I tried to burn a CD with it. I know it worked

earlier versions of 10.2. Somewhere along the line as I upgraded to
10.2.6,
the burning capability stopped being recognized.
I've also tried Toast but it doesn't recognize the drive either.

Does anyone know if there is any hope for me to get this drive to burn
again?
