You know, if you don't install the OS 9 drivers when you format a drive, you
can't boot into OS 9, even though Classic still works.

I keep wondering if all you need do is format the drive using an older drive
setup, before doing the install. Unfortunately, I don't have a brand new
Powerbook to experiment on�
