Thanks, Krevnik.

1. Is the reset utility the button on the battery itself? If not, where do I
find this utility, I searched on the HD but did not find it?

Try looking at www.macupdate.com and searching for 'Battery Reset'.

2. What/where is BTI?

BTI is a manufacturer... you can purchase their products from places like OWC (Online), Fry's (US/Canada) etc.

3. New issue: My wife needs to use a software that is not available on the
Mac. She dreads the idea of having to get/use a wintel device. Is there a
decent emulator board for the Lombard or what is your opinion of Virtual PC
or any other similar program?

No hardware board has been made for anything other than pre-OS X PCI Macs... (Orange Micro... Apple made boards for the NuBus PowerMacs, but neither is a laptop). Virtual PC is your best bet at running Windows software without getting AMD/Intel hardware.

Adam Thayer
