And I can testify, after using a Panther pre-release for a little while,
that Panther will reduce the speed gap even more! I know it may sounds
suspicious, but I'm positively, definitely sure that, on my Pismo 400, the
menu are snappier and the redraws are faster. Resizing windows in the Finder
is still a drag on the system, though, but for anything else, it is
definitely faster.
