I am really confused by your statements, you claim to have more control over your PC than a Mac running Mac OS X? Based on what? That you can edit your registry? OK, open a terminal and edit *whatever* you want. Course you don't have to do it via the CLI you can do it via the GUI just fine.
Mac users are brainwashed you said? Windows ME never crashes you say? You don't get viruses because you keep your wits about you?
Sorry but there is far too much BS for my to respect anything you say after this. I don't viruses because there are none for Mac OS X. You claim your wits protect you eh? Don't know much about security do you. Honestly, from reading your posts in these related threads you really sound like a troll, everything is, Apple is a cult, Apple makes crap, Windows is good, PCs are better.
And all of your statements lack substantiation ... Well, I hate to be this rude, but if you find a nice home on a Windows list I won't miss you.

All tray loading iMacs? Hmmm, last time I checked, the drive in my 333 iMac was still working fine. I know I'm not alone either......
It doesn't mean all of them will break....
So you're saying that Apple should forget about cutting-edge designs and just build generic boxes like Gateway, eMachine, and Dell? Heaven forbid!
Or a design similar to the PowerMac G4.....
If that was the case, I would still be using Microshaft's crap! It took
me a few years, but I finally got my head out of my rear long enough to
find out that there were alternatives that were better.
It's obviously only a problem for 3% of the computer using population.
I'm glad you found something you liked. But I found Win 98 to have better
functionality than every Mac OS until Panther.
And I've only had one BSOD with Win Me, and Mac OS X crashed on me on
several occasions and OS 9 crashes 2-3 times a week consistently and up to
several times a day.
That's how I feel too. But it's the other way around. I don't like the fact
that I don't have as much control over my Mac as I do my PC.
I don't use Anti-Virus software and I've never gotten a Virus. I'm just have
my wits about me enough not to get the viruses.
But I can build my own PCs that don't have problems. I can't do that with
Macs. I can also order them from companies like Falcon Northwest and Voodoo
PC that put most other computer manufacturers to shame in terms of quality
and support. That's choice and quality available in the PC world that can
never be had with a Mac.
I would agree on Dell, Gateway and HP. But I'd rather build my own system
and have control over the components that go into it instead of letting
Apple do it.
That seems to be more Mac users being brainwashed. I used to be one of the
brainwashed ones, but I know better now.
Then I guess you're the one who's learned to put up with mediocrity.
