Beware. You do need specific modules for the 256MB size, as the Wallestreet, including those upgraded with the Powerlogix BlueChip, can only read RAM chips of 128 megabits, so to get the full 256 megaBYTE we need 16 chips x 128 megaBIT each = 2048 megabit --> 2048 / 8 = 256 megabyte.


All modules made of 8 chips with a 256 megabit density will be read by the wallstreet as 128 MB.

PS. I believe that if a module with 32 chips with a density of 128 megabit had ever been built the Wallstreet could have reached even 1 GB of RAM.
