For day-to-day email, web surfing, word processing and even most games, you won't notice a difference. Even Diablo II runs as well on the iBook as it did on the Powerbook and almost as well as on my 1.2gHz G4 Cube.

The iBooks, as I stated in my previous note, are a great value for those just needing a computer for e-mailing, web surfing and word processing.

I chose the 15" PB as I am using Photoshop on a daily basis, in addition to editing large amounts of video and burning DVD's.

The iBooks do not have the Superdrive option either so that was another draw to the PB.
Again, I think it all boils down to what you plan to use the laptop for.
Even if you don't plan to burn video to DVD, it's great to be able to back up large amounts of photos and other data to DVD's instead of an endless number of CD's.
