Those machines would be had used? What video card is in the ibook? For text and light graphics and very light audio and video the ibook is sufficient. Any altivec enabled apps are going to shine on the G4. I personally would chose the 667 as it is a 15" [the size is perfect, I have the dvi version] and I can do video spanning. So make an inventory of what you want to do and weigh the cons and pros of screen resolution and spanning vs portability.
