AFAIK, Lombard can run Panther. But getting a PMU Down
Under, I don't know. Installing is not a bad idea, if
you're capable.
Depends on your budget. Did 'they' offer you a
trade-in - I'm guessing not? Check in Aussie land if
there's a used Mac dealer or private seller. Compare
the costs.
