Marcin:

You've picked a great time to buy a powerbook ... IMHO.

I have had a Pismo, (school purchase) and a Titanium & Aluminum (personally purchased. I really like being on OS X Panther, even though I am not nearly as comfortable with the inner workings of the OS, like I was on OS 9.

You're at the right place to ask questions ...

My question for you is ... what do you want to do with it, what software do you want to run?

Hi, my name's Marcin Wichary and this is my first post here,
although I know other LEM lists (mainly for the vintage Lisas/Macs).

I'm thinking of buying a brand-new PowerBook, which would be my
first Macintosh ever (after 15 or so years of wanting one!). Would
here be a good place to ask for an advice and some newbie questions?
If not, what list/forum would you recommend?

Thanks in advance and greetings to you all,

Marcin Wichary
