I have an iBook/500. I installed OS X 10.3 and erased the HDD. I want to use a few classic programs so I tried to install Mac OS 9.1. When I hold down the "c" key, the bar fills up halfway then says "bus error, hold down shift to disable extensions". I held down shift and got the same result. Does anyone know what I can do about this?
An OS 9.1 CD simply won't work.
The iBook 500 requires at least Mac OS 9.2.1.
