Hi:
I purchased Tiger and, expectedly, it came on DVD. I have a 700m Mhz,
G3 dual USB iBook. I tried to install Tiger on my external DVD drive,
but no luck. I couldn't select it as my startup drive in System
Preferences.
I have one last chance at installation, though, as I have a 900Mhz,
dual USB G3 iBook with a combo drive and a FireWire. How do I do it?
Does anyone know how to link them together by FireWire? Is the combo
drive started up in target mode? When do I hold down the T key (I
thought that it was the Y-key)? Is there a web page to explain how to
do it?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
dmjh
