Good Evening fellow listees; I have a small problem with my Airport set up on my Lombard.
First of all any Airport compatible PCMCIA card I put in the PCMCIA slot doesn't show up in the network pane as an Airport card, in fact in the network pane under network status Airport doesn't show as an option at all and I know these cards are good because they work in my Powerbook 3400 to connect wirelessly to the internet using a Graphite Base station, as does my B&W using a PCI Airport compatible card. Secondly I can't get the Airport SetUp assistant to recognize the cards. The one card I got to show up showed as an Ethernet Adapter Card en1 or something like that, so the slot seems to work to a degree. This is all on a Powerbook Lombard 128mb ram/OS 10.2.8/6gig harddrive & a 400mhz processor. Yes I know if I had more ram and a larger harddrive things might be a bit better but money is funny right now and so I have go with what I've got. Would someone and could some one point me in the direction to fix this problem or will I have to go back to OS 9.2.2 on this machine.
