This used to happen to me all the time. I would write ebay and get a
run-around about how I should clear my cache, etc.
Sometimes, the features (such as writing a seller a question) don't
work consistently. The text box for a question would never clear of the
boilerplate "enter question here" text, etc. I would write them and
eventually started insisting that it was server side on their end.
Of course, some sites like Gmail and GAP.com refuse to use certain
versions of browsers, like the Safari I have with Jaguar. It's not
unusual for Mac users to still be given the short end of the stick.
I think you have no choice but to try different browsers and hope that
one of them is optimized for whatever maintenance or development work
eBay is doing to screw up the usability.
