i have both, Suitcase 8 at work and ATM deluxe (some recent version) at
home. the two things that stand out most to me is the way ATM previews and
repairs. the preview is an entire window at any size you like (as opposed to
Suitcase's short little line at a small size). the default gives an overview
of the character set and a line of text set at several common sizes, but you
can change the size and text to whatever you would like. as far as
inspection and repairs, i've never had a problem with ATM, but i can't seem
to get much use out of Suitcase. for the most part, i use both with little
or no frustration, but these two features really stand out.
oh! i almost forgot the one feature in Suitcase that really pisses me
off--auto-activation. it fails at least as often as it works, virtually
useless!
