I've used them all, and the best Font-manager on the market today (by a
long shot) is FontReserve by DiamondSoft. It may be overkill if you only
use a few fonts (as in less than 100) but if you've got a ton of fonts
(as in more than 2000), it's the only way to go. It not only manages you
fonts for you, but it acctualy *stores* them for you as well-- you just
drag the font files into the FontReserve window and it will move (or
copy-- depending on your prefrence) the files into the "vault" folder,
sorted by type (ps, truetype etc.), foundry (adobe, bitstream etc.), and
family (bodoni, caslon etc.). In the FontReserve app you can sort
alpabeticly, by type, foundry, family or even *class* (sans, oldstyle,
modern, ornament, blackletter etc.-- this info is usualy encoded into the
font). It can auto-open and close fonts as you need them (works best with
Quark but ok with other apps too). This is all off the top of my head...
There are many other amazing features which are too numerous to mention.
Definitly check it out for yourself (I think there's even a free demo)

Oh, and it comes with Action WISIWYG free.
Let me know if you have other questions.
