Boy, you like to live dangerously! I hope 'Peter' is
reading this - there's an Apple Memory section at
PCBoost.com. Yet, they take great pains to explain
that
their PC Ram is very good, better than most.
I'm almost tempted to order the stuff you did, mainly
because they say they use Viking. Apparently that's
what
Apple uses. Anyways, the ram-disabling firmware
upgrade
doesn't apply to G3 'old-world' machines.
Is anybody on the same wavelength? Please respond,
offlist if nec.
