full amount of ram since it has 32MB per chip.
Older systems will still recognize the ram but will only use 16MB per chip
since that's all they can see. (if you have a 32x8=256 stick it will only

OWC is now selling DIMMs which they call "converted".
These utilize higher density chips, but fool the mobo into thinking that the
chips are lower density.
These are a few bucks cheaper than conventional (i.e., non-converted) DIMMs.
Perhaps these "converted" products will appear in PC133 form soon.
The "converted" DIMMs worked in every machine I tried them in, and that
included the very finicky Apple Network Server.
