Afternoon, Littermates...
I've had my G4/533 for several months now and have hesitated installing
umax software and attempting to use my scanner... umax astra 600s. It
worked very well on my old 8500 and I have it hooked into my external
scsi chain and is recognized in Apple System Profiler. (Only 2
peripherals on the chain, the scanner is 1st w/a Yamaha cdrw burner after
it and terminated)
I've heard a variety of horror stories re. UMAX scanners on G4 machines
and wondered if anyone has gotten one up and running: hints, tips,
secrets, software used?
Any and all info greatly appreciated,
