If there isn't a specific profile for your machine, you can create one
within the colorsync or adobe gamma software.

It basically has you view some squares, or apples, or lines (varies from
progrma to program) and has you move sliders until they blend together.

The settings for your monitor are then saved out as your specific profile,
and you can embed them in any documents you work on.
