Doug: duh....yep 256meg & 768meg must have relapsed to 1985 and my old 128k
first mac in all the excitement. Personal thanks to you for your help. Nifty
tip just posted.......disable the ram check at startup for significant
faster starts, I've had MAJOR  startup/restart slowdowns with all the new
ram.
