I think maybe you had an isolated experience. One of my clients (the North Face)
has over 100 Que CDRW's. Most of them are the 16x10x40 and a few were older
8x4x12's. I had 2 drives die out of 100+. I called Que (very short hold time)
and they gave me RMA #'s. I sent a new drive and an old 8x4x12, and within a week
they replaced both of them with brand new 16x10x40's! That was an example of
fantastic customer service. Of course I *do* understand that this is my only
experience with Que customer service and *my* experience may have been isolated.
I personally own three 16x10x40 drives and they are functioning perfectly.

Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the
surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area and you
multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you
can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet
that follows the same pattern...do you know what it is? A virus. --Agent Smith,
