Do yourself, a favor and dis-install Conflict Catcher. That program causes more problems then it solve. If you know how to manage your extension manager, then there's no reason for installing that program. If your sound doesn't come back after getting rid of it, reinstall you OS, and I'm sure things will come back to normal.
