Thanks for all the help Marc.  I've trashed everything with DVD on it,
except those two files, and then reloaded and it still isn't working. I
don't know what is wrong. I guess I'll keep fiddling around with it and
hopefully can get the DVD to work.  It just seems so strange to be working
one day, and then, poof, it's not.  The DVD works, it just doesn't recognize
any disks that are Win/Mac disks and wants to initialize them. As long as
the disks are Mac only, they are recognized.  It can't be that complicated,
but when you don't know much about a Mac or even a computer in general, it
can be almost overwhelming.  I like everything to work and work well.  When
it's not, I get bothered and try to fix it, and unfortunately, end up doing
more damage than was there to begin with.  If you or anyone who reads this
happen to think of anything that might help to get the DVD Player to
function properly, I'd really appreciate it.  Thanks again, ron in Austin
