Thought this would be of interest given recent interest in iTunes2 here...
---------------- Begin Forwarded Message ---------------- Stop looking at my headers, you freak! Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Hey guys, heads up! A SERIOUS bug has been discovered in the just-released iTunes 2 installer that has been wiping entire hard drive partitions _seemingly_ randomly. I say seemingly because people are still trying to track down the source of the problem. Even though, as of this e-mail, Apple has yet to remove the download from its iTunes site, I strongly encourage everyone not to download and run this installer until Apple has had the opportunity to correct the issue. REPEAT: Do not download and run the iTunes 2 installer! Thank you for your attention, everyone. -/- Michael Watson Apple Product Professional Apple Certified Service Technician ----------------- End Forwarded Message ----------------- -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
