Sorry to hear of all your troubles. If it in fact turns out that you do need a new MoBo, I had a very good experience with AllMac <http://www.allmac.com>. You can also reach them by phone at 1-800-933-4962, although I don't think that number will work in Italy! When the MoBo's video circuitry fried on my rev 1 Beige G3, I was looking at quotes in the $4-500 range, until a friend of mine who is a Mac tech told me about AllMac. They sent me a rev B MoBo for $259 plus a refundable $100 core charge. Their service was prompt and professional. No affiliation bla, bla, bla, just a happy customer.
