Hello all, I'm new to the list. I just got a Beige G3/266 and I'm looking to upgrade the HD/RAM. Now, I've got the 7200 rpm 40 Gig IBM 60GXP all picked out, but I have some questions regarding RAM.
I was told/read the Beige G3 can accept PC 100 SDRAM - but can it accept PC 133? Moreover, were PC 100 DIMMs manufactured at 256 Mb, and is the beige G3 use them? Any personal experience with this? I've got one bank open, the other two being occupied with 64 Mb DIMMs; it would be great to drop one 256 in there and not have to remove anything. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
