I was told/read the Beige G3 can accept PC 100 SDRAM - but can it accept PC
133?

The Beige was originally manufactured with PC66 SDRAM. These machines will
accept PC66, PC100 or PC133 SDRAM in any combination, just as long as the
SDRAM is "unbuffered, with EPROM".

The Beige mobo reads the EPROM and sets the accessing parameters
independently for each of its three slots.

I assume the Beige could accept the new PC150 SDRAM as well.

Moreover, were PC 100 DIMMs manufactured at 256 Mb, and is the beige G3 use
them? >>

My 256s were PC133.

I presently use three 256s for a total of 768 MB.

I have tried these 256 MB PC133 SDRAMs in combination with PC100 128 MB and
PC66 64 MB SDRAMs, and all possible combinations work fine.

The Beige is perhaps the best designed Apple machine, when it comes to RAM
flexibility.

Note that SOME 256s will read as 128s on the Beige. These are mis-designed
SDRAM sticks and should be returned to the seller.
