Incredibly, some Mac-oriented mail order houses are still carrying "special" 
Beige G3 SDRAM sticks, and these are being sold with different part numbers 
and at higher prices than the SDRAM for the B&W and later machines.

Once again, the Beige machines can accept ANY PC66, PC100 and PC133 SDRAM ... 
and perhaps PC150 SDRAM as well ... EXCEPT for certain mis-manufactured 256 
MB SDRAM, in which case this mis-manufactured SDRAM will read as 128 MB.

The key requirements to Beige compatibility is: 1) unbuffered, 2) with EPROM, 
and 3) 256 MB or less (unless someone has come up with a "converted" SDRAM 
design).
