I did the same with the middle button when I used the MacAlly UniMouse. > Using Logitech's Mouseware (the latest version that I > downloaded from the website) You can also set the buttons to perform a > plethora of different tasks. I like USB Overdrive better for general use, but one thing I liked about the Mouseware s/w, and that is when you hold the Shift key and then use the scroll wheel it will scroll horizontally. > the only thing is that I find that when I do a regular shut down and boot, I > have to unplug the mouse and plug it back in to the usb card to get it to > load. Has anyone else experienced this? Yep, had the same problem on a beige MT with USB card. The guy who installed the USB card had installed the USB s/w which came with the card. I trashed all that and installed Apple USB Card Support 1.4.1 and from then I didn't have to unplug and plug it back in again. > Should I try USB Overdrive? You can give it a try. Don't forget to disable the MouseWare s/w first (MouseWare cp, MouseWare Extension and USB MouseWare Extension). > If so > where can I get it?
