Yeah, it bites :(. I want my OS 9 F-Key launcher back. The dock functions as a nice app switcher (as in OS 9) but it's not that good as a launcher. It means I have to take my hands off the keyboard (I'm a touch-typer) over to the trackball, find the icon and then click on it. Pressing F4 to launch/switch to IE or F5 to launch mail is a lot easier, quicker and less frustrating (most important feature) than going over to the @#$)(* dock (& I've been using OS X since April!!!). I'd much rather Apple go the M$ way of using the Alt/Option key to activate menus if so desired than the hair-brained F-key scheme. <grumble> Anyone know of a *simple* utility that restores that functionality to OS X (I don't like complex software b/c it leads to less stability, even in OS X). Something like ASM 2.0 would be great!!! (perhaps the author of that one would want to venture into an F-Key restoration project :) L8r, Eric. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
