Hi, I had the same problem when I upgraded my G4/450 too. To fix it I just deleted everything extracted from the downloaded archive file (when the web browser called Stuffit Expander) then decompressed the downloaded file again by double-clicking on it. I used the installer after that and it worked perfectly. It has been a while since I updated but I am pretty sure that is what I did. Whatever I tried got the new system running in about 5 min so if it was anything like what happened to me the solution should be simple.
