Aloha Still trying to figure out a way around the second drive problem on my beige. Sure enough my video ROM on the motherboard says "Rage II", which apparently is one way to tell if the machine will support slave drives - I read on the lowendmac site that if it says Rage Pro it will support a second drive. And of course mine isn't one of those.
What about adding an ATA PCI card? I read that this will allow 2 master and 2 slave drives. Will I still run into a problem? I appreciate the help, everybody.
