Hello all, I am a former PPC6500 owner who is now driving a Beige G3/333, 256 RAM, 48 GBHDD, OS 8.6. I recently installed OS 9.1 and was surprised at the speed increase considering the RAM usage. All was fine except that AfterDark was left behind. I was clicking along fine until I tried to print something. I could not "find" the printer. I opened Chooser and clicked on my DJ870 printer, clicked on printer port, clicked setup and DJ870, turned appletalk and background printing off, closed window and tried to print a document. Went to Page Setup, nothing popped up. Went to Print, nothing popped up.
Reloaded and upgraded printer drivers, repeated - I opened Chooser and clicked on my DJ870 printer, clicked on printer port, clicked setup and DJ870, turned appletalk and background printing off, closed window and tried to print a document. Went to Page Setup, dialog box popped up but I couldn't change anything in it. Went to Print, dialog box popped up but nothing happened when I clicked Print. What am I missing?
