I have had - and corrected - this problem before. What happens is that the
Quicktime Installer will not properly install the Quicktime Plug-in on your
web browser.

To fix this:

1. Quit all web browsers.

2. Search your hard drive for "QuickTime Plugin".

3. Go to the folder for each we browser you are using and open the Plug-ins
folder.

4. COPY (don't move) this plugin file into that browsers plug-in folder.

5. Start your browser again and try to play QT movies.

After doing this, I can play any standard Quicktime movies on all my
browsers (Mozilla, Internet Explorer, Netscape) with *no* problems.

Hope this helps,

Matt
