Latest update for OS X is 10.1.3. Latest update for OS 9.2 is 9.2.2. > I have been having problems trying to get either OS to work properly. Do you have extra PCI cards installed besides the ATI Rage 128? Usually PCI SCSI do not work very well with OS X. My B&W wouldn't even boot from the OS X CD until I pulled my Adaptec 2930 CU SCSI card. Also PCI Voodoo cards usually give kernal panics. > I also recently replaced my original 6 gig HD with a Maxtor Fireball 30 gig > 7200 rpm HD and this new hard drive has been partitioned in half with each > OS residing in one of the partitions. Could be, I've heard it before. Be sure to check http://www.xlr8yourmac.com/G3-ZONE/yosemite/IDE/ too about this issue. You can also d/l a little application there which can check if your HD has corruption problems, because of that IDE problem. I myself haven't had any corruption problems either with a 30 gig Maxtor as master or as slave to my 6 gig stock HD on my Rev1 B&W G3 350. The only difference is that my Maxtor 30 gig is a Maxtor DiamondPlus, while yours is actually a Quantum Fireball. HTH, Marc -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
