Don't be afraid, it's really much easier than you think. You'll need a pair
of needle nose pliers or a tweezers. I'm going to assume you know nothing
about jumpers in the following explanation:

The motherboard has a series of wire pins that stick up near the PCI slots.
The pins are arranged in pairs. The idea behind using jumpers is that you
"join" the two pins in a pair together to make an electrical connection. In
case you've never seen a jumper, it looks like a tiny piece of plastic with
two holes in it. Each pin fits in a hole and that completes the connection.

Your motherboard comes stock with a "jumper block". This block has a hole
for every pin but not all the holes connect the pin pair together. You must
remove this block before adding the new jumpers.

So now all you need is what combination of jumpers to use. As George said,
OWC has an excellent guide to configuring the jumpers.
