Thanks I will try Logging out. That is the only thing other than another clean install that I haven't tried.
Also thanks to the others that posted to this problem. If this doesn't stop the flashing of the screen, then I will resort to the Clean install since as mentioned in other threads , you can't overwrite until Jaguar is released.
