Do Airport cards even work without a Base Station? Thinking of getting one myself for my G4 800 and moms iMac 500 that�s downstairs to share the DSL.. Yes you would need the base station to share the connection. The base will do the actual connecting to the DSL line, and will then route it to its ports and go from there..
Windows has an Internet Sharing program that is rather horrible..
