Accoring to the airport card man. you can use one of the computers as a
software basestation. But this seems like more of a pain than it's worth as
you would need to turn on one to use the other. I just picked up a rev b
basestation at compusa for $150 and they had several more. BYW, I also
picked up an airport card at circuit city for $50 so the new old stock is
still out there. I don't have any comparisons to the newer versions but it
was very easy to install (10 min for both) and it does give you a cool
sense of freedom to roam.
