Put a Keyspan USB card in the Mac, hooked up a printer (didn't turn it on),
turned the Mac on, installed the drivers for the card and restarted, to go
download the printer drivers and test it.

Then, when the Mac finishes booting, I get a Finder message that the
drivers for the printer is not there. My Mac already knows what brand and
model, even though it's still not turned on.

Huh?!
