Exactly. You can also use the telephone wiring in the house if it has 
enuf unused lines - or, what I did, use cordless phones putting the base 
stations at the main connection, then dedicatiing the rest of the 
installed house wiring to 1gb and a switch at every end. That gave me 
connections galore on every floor with virtually no "real" electrician 
work.
